Because Copper shows up most often, you'll likely be able to get a ton of it easiest of those listed. Mine a load of Copper, Cadmium, Emeril, or Indium. ![]() ![]() Crafting is by far the most efficient, and reliable, way to keep your stocks high. The only ways to get it are through crafting or purchasing it, although you might get lucky and find it in a random container. Convert some of the resulting stellar metal back to chromatic metal, and repeat. There’s a process called Chromatic Expansion: 1 unit of a stellar metal (copper, cadmium, etc) + 1 unit of chromatic metal 4 units of that same stellar metal. The unfortunate part of Chromatic Metal is that you can't come across it in any natural source in the universe. Once you have the medium or large refiner, you may never have to mine stellar metals again.
